Weekly Horoscope (Jan 21, 2009)

posted by my-blogmedia | Friday, January 23, 2009 |

Hi all, we meet again. Here are your weekly horoscope for this week. Enjoy.

Aries
A lot of the action seems to be happening in your social zone. This is also the area associated with long-term dreams and goals. On Monday the Sun moves into Aquarius where it joins Jupiter and brings a lucky opportunity your way. But aside from this, there's also going to be a Solar Eclipse in this area at the end of the week. Solar Eclipses act like wildcards and help move you along in areas where you've become stuck in a rut. It's best to expect the unexpected over the course of this week.

Taurus
If you've been hoping for a promotion, you'll be more determined to go after it. Your faith in yourself will improve dramatically from this point on. Mercury continues to be retrograde and moves back into Capricorn on Tuesday. Although this isn't the best time to begin new projects or sign deals, you have a great opportunity to explore new openings and learn things that will be of use in the future. Networking activities will also help you get ahead this week. Just because others don't agree with your ideas doesn't mean you have to ditch them.

Gemini
More than ever your thoughts are going to be on faraway places and exploring new subjects. This zone is also associated with legal issues, higher education, and publishing. If you have recently caught the travel bug, this may be one of the better times to go on vacation. You can expect all kinds of opportunities to spring up as a result of stepping out of your comfort zone. Mercury is retrograde, so this probably isn't the best time to sign a book deal as it may all fall flat. Wait until early February. The same goes for legal issues.

Cancer
Whatever takes place over the coming days is a call to better things. If one door closes, rest assured that another will open. Jupiter gives you the confidence and faith to handle whatever takes place. Take action sooner rather than later if you're already aware of impending trouble. Do what you have to do in order to make things better, but don't sign any new agreements. Everything is in a state of flux, not just because of the Eclipse but also because Mercury continues to be retrograde. It's best to do what you have to and then go with the flow.

Leo
It's essential that you take the time to listen to what others have to say. There is also plenty of scope for creative discussion. The end of the week brings a Solar Eclipse. Eclipses bring change even when you aren't expecting it. If your relationship with your partner is sound, it may be tested, but it will survive. If it has been showing signs of strain, then this Eclipse may mark the beginning of the end. If you fall in love, don't commit too quickly. Bide your time and go with the flow.

Virgo
Allow more space in your schedule than usual and be prepared for unexpected events. If you feel tired, lighten your schedule. Don't allow stress to get to you. The effects of the Solar Eclipse at the end of the week may be felt as early as Monday. Eclipses are all about evolution, and they certainly put an end to complacency. There may be changes at work that could surprise you. You could be promoted or have your hours cut back. Further down the line you'll appreciate why such things had to happen.

Libra
You're more confident than ever of finding that special someone. He or she may already have appeared in your life. But don't take this person for granted just yet. A combination of influences may mean things don't quite go as planned. Sometimes a timely accident of fate can bring us to the next exciting phase of the journey more quickly than originally planned. Mercury continues to be retrograde, so make sure that you're giving and getting the right signals. If you've met someone online, it's even more necessary to read between the lines. Don't take anything for granted.

Scorpio
The main focus is on your home zone. Not only has Jupiter just moved in for a yearlong stay but Mercury is retrograde and there's a Solar Eclipse, too. Solar Eclipses pave the way for new beginnings, but they can also initiate endings. It's common during this time to feel as though you're being pulled in several different directions. If you were considering moving, you may suddenly find things have changed and you need to move right away. There may also be changes in the family dynamics at this time.

Sagittarius
The big event is a Solar Eclipse in your communication zone. Eclipses create a state of flux as realities seem to shift and slide around you. This Eclipse is like a turbocharged New Moon. It's all about new beginnings, but something may have to end in the process. This is the week your computer could die, leaving you to buy a new one that may be much better for the kind of work you have to do. Whatever the scenario, don't make any decisions for a week or so until you know how the land lies.

Capricorn
Your financial situation has been a bone of contention for some time. Last week Jupiter moved into Aquarius, bringing hope and faith that you can overcome your problems. However, Mercury continues to be retrograde, so you may still be experiencing delays and a few problems. There's going to be a Solar Eclipse at the end of the week, which is going to force problems to the surface so that you can deal with them right away. If there's some matter you've been ignoring, you may not be able to do so any longer.

Aquarius
You feel a lot more positive. However, there's going to be a Solar Eclipse in your sign at the end of the week bringing opportunities that you hadn't expected so soon. This Eclipse will be like a turbocharged New Moon. It will bring a few surprises, some of which you'll enjoy and others that may be more challenging. In order to make room for new developments in your life, you need to get rid of anything that's no longer necessary. This is how the Eclipse operates: as one door closes, another opens.

Pisces
You feel a lot more positive. However, there's going to be a Solar Eclipse in your sign at the end of the week bringing opportunities that you hadn't expected so soon. This Eclipse will be like a turbocharged New Moon. It will bring a few surprises, some of which you'll enjoy and others that may be more challenging. Bat toy! Palm-size radio-controlled helicopters
Well, even big-city crime fighters must have some down time, and what better way to have a little fun AND at the same time annoy co-workers like Alfred, Robin and Chief O'Hara than to buzz them with a tiny helicopter? (Careful: We see you warming up to the idea.)

When it comes to miniature guided aircraft, there's an embarrassment of riches out there. We haven't tested any of these models, so we can't advocate one over another, but you can check out the MicroHelicopter in flight on this company site, whipping its rotors to some seriously annoying accompanying music. Prices range from about $25 to $50 each. 'Nuff said. -- Anne B. McDonald

Top 10 Food for Muscle Builder (10): Wild Salmon

posted by my-blogmedia | Wednesday, January 21, 2009

Hi my-blogmedia readers.

Wanna be a muscle builder?. Remember to pay attention of what kind of food we should eat. Here are the top 10 food that suit for you. Have a body building and have this food.

10. Wild salmon
High in inflammation-fighting omega-3s, wild red or sockeye salmon (canned or fillet) is an excellent low-mercury alternative to canned solid tuna, which can be high in the toxic metal. "Defrosting a frozen fillet for dinner makes a great substitute for steak," says Dr. Dansinger, "or pan sear a fresh fillet with olive oil and kosher salt." Recent NFL probes suggest that many teams—including the Bengals and the Giants—serve it to players to lock in strength gains and fuel performance. But while pro athletes might eat 16 ounces at once, you're better off with 3 or 4 six-ounce servings a week.

The Bat-Sanitizer
Batman has to be germophobic. The guy wears full protection from head to toe. At some point, though, he'll need to wash his hands, eat, or -- God forbid -- sack out undercover at some grimy hotel in Gotham's red light district.Hence the need for this special UV wand. Just wave it over whatever's freaking you out -- cell phone, doorknob or those crusty bedsheets -- and 99.9 percent of accumulated germs will laugh themselves to death. No! They'll be zapped, as "intense ultraviolet radiation emanates from a lens on the face." (Health advisory: Not recommended for giving yourself an erstaz suntan if you're a creature of the night.) Weekly Horoscope (Jan 05, 2008)

posted by my-blogmedia | Tuesday, January 06, 2009 |

Hi all, we meet again. Here are your weekly horoscope for this week. Enjoy.

Aries
The big news for this week is that Jupiter moves into Aquarius on Monday. Jupiter changes signs once a year, and for you it means many fabulous opportunities associated with your social life. The more you get out, the more you'll benefit. New and exciting friends will come into your life. These will have both business and romantic potential. Networking in general will have a great impact on all areas of your life. Jupiter remains in this zone until January 2010, so you have plenty of time to take advantage of your good fortune.

Taurus
Your career is moving through an interesting phase. Jupiter moves into Aquarius on Monday, where it will stay until 2010. In this position, it brings you many sparkling opportunities to get ahead and be the success you've always wanted to be. You feel more confident about going after what you want. However, Mercury turns retrograde on Sunday and will remain so until January 31. This means you can dream big, but from the end of the week it's unwise to sign major contracts or involve yourself in discussions that may end up going nowhere.

Gemini
Mars is continuing to move through your joint financial zone and stir things up in this area. Pluto has also entered Capricorn, making this a particularly sensitive zone in which change and transformation are going to be the norm. Jupiter moves into Aquarius and into your adventure zone on Monday. It means that you're going to be attracted to anything scientific, futuristic, and New Age. The boundaries between science and spirituality will become almost nonexistent, and you'll be keen to learn as much as you can about these new laws.

Cancer
This is an exciting week as Jupiter moves into your joint financial zone and the sign of Aquarius. This indicates that money is coming to you, and not necessarily because you've worked hard for it. It may come through your partner, family, or a lucky windfall. Financial blessings come through other people, and even the bank and other creditors will have a tendency to be more generous towards you. Jupiter will stay in this area until 2010, so you have plenty of time to take advantage of all the golden opportunities coming your way.

Leo
This is going to be an excellent year for partnership and romantic issues. Jupiter moves into Aquarius and your partnership zone on Monday, where it will stay until 2010. Despite the issues and problems you've had to deal with in past relationships, you may decide to get married, engaged, or perhaps commit to your lover on a long-term basis this year. You're also going to be doing a lot of socializing and this is going to bring many new friends into your life. You're going to have a lot of fun.

Virgo
Jupiter moves into Aquarius and into your work and health zone. It's going to bring plenty of opportunities for promotion or perhaps a chance to do something more rewarding and exciting. Teamwork will be a key component of the work you're involved in over the next twelve months. Making sure your computer skills are up to date will be equally important. If you already work in this field, you could experience great success. The same is true for scientists, metaphysicians, and astrologers. New love relationships are going to be very intense but very worthwhile.

Libra
There's plenty of action at home with Mars in this zone. Now that 2009 is in full swing, it's time to grab some of those New Year's bargains and brighten up your house. If you've neglected to clear out the clutter for some time, don't wait any longer. The sooner you make more space, the happier and more creative you'll feel. Meanwhile, Jupiter moves into Aquarius on Monday, which is going to brighten up your love affairs zone for all of 2010. You're going to be very attracted to unique and interesting individuals.

Scorpio
As Jupiter moves into Aquarius on Monday, you're going to have a lot more lucky breaks associated with your home. If you've wanted to sell it, you may get more for it than you first thought. If you're looking for a new home, you're likely to find the perfect one for you. The buying or selling process should go a lot more smoothly. The same is true if you're applying for a mortgage. Luck is on your side. However, Mercury turns retrograde on Saturday and remains so until January 31. Hold back from committing yourself.

Sagittarius
Jupiter moves into Aquarius on Monday, where it will stay until 2010. It will remain in your communication zone for a year, bringing many opportunities. If you're a computer ace or Web wizard, you could be particularly successful. The year 2009 is excellent for advertising campaigns and for selling anything and everything. You have the gift of gab and it's going to work wonders for you. If you've thought about writing a book or starting out as a professional writer, this is the best time to begin, as you'll get plenty of positive feedback.

Capricorn
Jupiter moves into your personal financial zone on Monday, where it will stay until January 2010. Your financial affairs should run much more smoothly from this point on. You'll have a lot more luck and plenty of opportunity. You may be tempted to be a lot more extravagant than normal, and this is something you need to resist. Above all, make sure that your finances remain in good order. You may have a chance to start a savings plan or put money away. It's better to do this than waste it on things you don't really need.

Aquarius
Jupiter moves into your sign bringing opportunities and good fortune your way. This is a year to dream big, decide what you want, and go for it. Your social life is going to be very exciting. The people you meet will open doors for you into experiences that will change you forever. Your friends may be a key part of your life. Networking will also be very beneficial and something you should do on a regular basis, whether online or off. Meanwhile, you're likely to have some profound thoughts about your direction in life.

Pisces
When Jupiter moves into Aquarius, it brings you the chance to become more acquainted with your dreams. As Jupiter will also be in the sign of Aquarius, you may be drawn to experiment with various gadgets that help you meditate deeply, remember your dreams, or even train your brain and encourage it to function more harmoniously. You may find visualization exercises, guided meditations, self-hypnosis CDs, and other such products particularly helpful. A Full Moonin your love affairs zone on Saturday is going to bring a lot of emotion to the surface.

Hello, my-blogmedia readers. We meet again. Here we are posting the winner of product innovations that might be usefull for you.

Honorable mention: The Hamper Pack
As described by designer Phillip Padilla, a junior in industrial design at Virginia Tech, the Hamper Pack is designed to use door space — not floor space — for dirty laundry. A plastic hook hangs the pack on the back of a door, and dirty clothes can be dropped into the hamper's molded rubber laundry port. When it's time to head for the washers and dryers, the Hamper Pack can be worn like a backpack.

A great detail on the Hamper Pack is the onboard coin slot. No more rummaging for quarters on laundry day — just unzip the change pouch below the slot and start feeding the machine.
